It seems that Tesco – British-based international grocery and general merchandising retail chain – is coming to Mountain View. Under a different name, of course – Fresh & Easy.
There was an Asian grocery store on the corner of Middlefield and Rengstroff called Golden Phoenix. It was fine, with good selection of fish. Now, after some reconstruction there will be Fresh & Easy. Well, let’s see what it is. However, now I think of it, Tesco could have payed for a better name. Fresh & Easy sounds really weird for a grocery store.
